Hi, I’m Carolyn, the face behind Belovedjpeg — a photographer devoted to capturing love in its truest form.
I believe the most meaningful moments are often the quiet ones: a hand reaching for another, sunlight spilling across a veil, the laughter that softens into tears.
My art is rooted in faith and nostalgia — inspired by the beauty of film, the gentleness of light, and the sacred truth that every person is deeply, irrevocably beloved.
I photograph with intention, creating images that feel like memory — timeless, elegant, and full of heart. Whether in Michigan or halfway across the world, my hope is simple:

We are so incredibly lucky we found Carolyn through a friend to do our wedding photos! While planning a wedding can be a daunting and time consuming experience, Carolyn made the whole planning process a million times better and easier!
She handles her business with professionalism, ensuring all considerations of the day are well thought out, but most importantly she is an overall genuine person you want to be around which we believe is so important in a vendor & photographer! She made all our family, bridal party, and guests feel welcomed and comfortable for photos, but also adhered to our schedule and plan that was discussed at length leading up to the wedding.
Lastly, her talent is outstanding from both her creative eye of photos, to her editing style. She truly captured our day and the emotions beautifully and made our wedding gallery unique to us! She took our ideas and made it our own which feels so special! We are so blessed to have such beautiful moments captured and will treasure the photos and Super 8 film for life!

P.S. If you’re on the fence of adding Super 8 or extra film as an add-on, you won’t regret it! Our Super 8 film ended up being one of my favorite parts of our package!
